Two ways to do it, depending on whether you still have the app.
This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately:
Send a deletion request by email from the address your account uses, so the request can be verified. Nothing else is needed in the message.
Email a deletion requestOr write directly to [email protected] with the subject Nestly account deletion request.
Requests are actioned within 30 days. You will get a confirmation by email once the deletion is complete.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account and sign-in credentials | Deleted |
| Profile — country, currencies, income settings | Deleted |
| Wallets | Deleted |
| Transactions, including amounts and notes | Deleted |
| Goals | Deleted |
| Budgets | Deleted |
| The copy stored on your own device | Removed when you uninstall the app |
Anonymous usage events and crash reports are not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you, so they are not deleted individually. They are held by Google under their own retention schedules and expire automatically.
Nothing is retained for any other reason. There is no grace period and no archived copy — deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Deletion is permanent. If you want to keep a record of your transactions, export or note them down first, because they cannot be recovered afterwards.
